Twin Rivers has about 2,200 4th grade students participate in a full-year interactive program where they are given Link Up curriculum to help teach them the recorder. Each Spring our students come together to perform a final concert alongside The Sacramento Philharmonic.  The students perform in an interactive concert from their seats with the orchestra as they follow the visuals projected on a screen above the stage.  Our Philharmonic Link Up program continues to be a favorite musical experience for all.

 

Link Up National is a partnership with the Weil Music Institute at Carnegie Hall.  Each season more than 50 orchestras from around the country partner with school districts to provide a hands-on music curriculum about the different elements of music, orchestral repertoire and instruments.
