STrong Partnership with our Community Arts organizations
We believe that access to arts education is vital for our students' success. We are fortunate to partner with a range of community arts organziations who are commited to enriching our arts program by providing art experiences for our students before, after and during school, year-round.
Through our outstanding partnerships we are able to provide:
- all 4th grades perform in an interactive concert with The Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera
- all 5th graders work with local artists through artist residencies in every class
- all 6th graders attend a live dance performance by the The Sacramento Ballet
- all 7th graders experience a visual art exhibit at our Just DREAM Art Gallery
- all 8th graders participate in theater workshops and attend a live theaterical production
- all 9th graders work with Globe teaching artists and attend a live theater production at Sac State Theater and Dance
- all elementary schools have an arts assemly through Any Given Child
